Axiomatic offers a diverse lineup of CAN bus module platforms that can be customized for OEM applications. We also offer off-the-shelf products with firmware that covers a range of ‘standard’ applications for each hardware platform. The embedded firmware can also be quickly modified to meet OEM requirements on request. Our CAN devices are field-proven and use robust circuits and rugged enclosures for use in harsh environments. All Axiomatic CAN controllers support the CAN 2.0B physical layer. There are several high-level communication standards for CAN buses, and Axiomatic’s design engineers are experts in both SAE J1939 and CiA CANopen® protocols.

Axiomatic offers rugged and reliable battery chargers, DC/DC converters, motor controllers, and surge protectors that are suited for a variety of applications. The DC/DC converters can provide stable DC supply when installed on battery-powered vehicles or generator sets. The motor controllers control the speed or torque of actuators, DC, BLDC, and permanent magnet motors and are utilized on mobile equipment and automation systems. The surge protectors offer protection against transient voltages and surges for all sensitive electronic equipment.

Axiomatic’s family of rugged inclinometers measure inclination angles and communicate the resolved angles over CANopen or SAE J1939. All sensors are designed for harsh environments and can be integrated into a 2D or 3D machine control system.

The Tilt Sensor is a rugged out-of-level indicator and shut down control for mobile equipment. It indicates out of level condition from mounting location and drives external valves, solenoids,relays, lamps or annunciators for equipment shut down control or warning system.

The Laser Receiver has a laser detection diode array consisting of 40 diodes. The diode array is 190 mm in length and it can be configured to detect one or two independent rotating laser beams. It has multiple configuration options to suit a variety of machine applications. Refer to the datasheet for details.

The resolver modules measure angular displacement and speed over 360°, via CANopen network.

Axiomatic Protocol Converters, Routers and CAN Gateways provide end users and OEM’s, a solution for integrating their legacy or standard systems. Axiomatic products support one to one conversions of TTL, RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, SAE J1939 and CANopen networks, Automotive Ethernet, Gigabit Automotive Ethernet, Ethernet UDP, Ethernet TCP/IP, RESTful, Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP as well as proprietary protocols on request.
