The 4 Analog or PWM Signal Output CAN Controller can extend machine control networks by adding I/O to the CAN bus. Engine control systems with SAE J1939 can communicate with 4-20 mA or other signal input devices using this controller as a smart interface. The Axiomatic controller can be configured to suit the specific application using a service tool. User selectable outputs include: 0-5V; 0-10V; +/-5V; +/-10V; 0-20mA; 4-20 mA; and +/-20mA. Alternatively, PWM signal outputs can be selected. The controller comes in two models, the AX030540 for SAE J1939 networks or the AX030541 for CANopen® applications.
