The Modbus/CAN converters operate as data converters capable of handling communication between CAN bus and Modbus devices on machines. Communication can occur in both directions. The Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbit Ethernet compliant. The CAN port can support high speed CAN with a baud rate of up to 1 Mbps. These devices can interface with SAE J1939 or CANopen®. Technical details may vary depending on the model. The Protocol Converter is IP67 rated and suitable for harsh operating environments.
